Hi everyone – this is Fiona here (Bianca’s mum!)
Just dropping in with a quick note to let you know that I spoke with Bianca and Paul – they are currently at Island Peak Base Camp, along with our friend Tim too. They’re all doing well and had a comfortable night’s sleep.
They’re now resting and getting ready to move up to Island Peak High Camp later today. Then sometime early tomorrow morning / late tonight, they’ll leave for their summit attempt of Island Peak.
So far the weather is great with clear skies.
