Hi all! I’ve heard from Bianca and Paul and they are now safely at camp 2.
Bianca said the icefall was simple but there were lots of people and they had to wait at the big ladder for about 40 minutes. Including queues and breaks, they took about 5h20. They had tea in camp 1 and then got moving again after a short break because they were worried about the heat. (The Western Cwm there is known as the Western BBQ).
She also said that the last hour from camp 1 to camp 2 was BOILING.
