We just heard through a broken up radio call that Bianca is at The Balcony. This is a milestone on the route up where there is a flat area and most people use this to swap over their oxygen bottles and maybe take a rest. She spoke to Paul but I could only hear half of the conversation. It seems its quite windy with snow blowing head-on.
After here it gets steeper so there is still a lot ahead of her. She’s made good time so far but I’m not sure if the conditions are going to be kind enough or if they’re going to need to turn around.
